In physics, the subject of research is very often not accessible to our senses. The reception is very often performed using, usually complex and multilayered, technical tools. That is particularly true for particle physics and cosmology. Thus, fundamental questions about the nature of reality, which is observed thus, become extremely important.

To enhance the cooperation on such questions Prof. Maas, who is working on such subjects, has now become also member of the focus research group

"Perception: Episteme, Aesthetics, Politics" of the GEWI faculty, which investigates such general problems. This formalizes an existing cooperation, which already runs since a few years for the future.
